Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the Wood
So help me if you can
I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh
Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a honey jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
And from here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear
It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all's said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going
I swear that old bear whispered "Boy, welcome home"
Believe me if you can
I've finally come back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin
Back to the days of Pooh

If there is one thing that Marlbrough would be greatly the better for
Would be a more effective representation of arts from Ceramics to literator.
Artist of all types, be they visually, theatrically, dancerly or, musically
Don’t ever seem to be recognized quite properly
If I were elected I would propose
To have more announcement concerning those
Involved in the arts in school and out
Teaching you something you could know nothing about.
For instance, did you know,
Arts have stepped to an all time low.
Writers have not been read for a very long time
And I have proof their stories can be mine
For me to post and you to read
These stories you see your mind they will feed
it would help if I could supply
An information source for when where and why
The outside world is important you see
If you want more exposure Arts rep can help and that’s me
The talent show idea is one that could go
It would combine art and make council some dough
It would showcase the talent of drama and song
How ’bout comics and dancers the whole program long
As is tradition I’ll tell you quite quick
Photography, theater and paints are my shtick
I enjoy all the others, from choral to dance
If you’re for the arts vote for me, here’s your chance
A Cup of Tea
When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.
There is magic in its' fragrance,
There is solace in its' taste;
And then laden moments vanish
Somehow into space.
And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see;
All because you briefly stopped
To brew a cup of tea.
